Every weekend during the summer we have Bingo, Horseshoes, Crafts for all, Pedal Carts and Hayrides. There is always fun at the beach, hikes on the Nature Trail, Bike the near by Rail Trail, Explore Copake Falls, and great nearby town to explore, each with their own unique charm. Watch for added Dances on the weekends, Casino Trips are being arranged and will be posted in the near future! Kids be sure and enter the Art Contest this summer! $1.00 per entry! Proceeds to Benefit the World Awareness Children’s Art Museum. Judging will take place each month and winners art work will be displayed in the Museum and be part of a permanent collection! April 26th - 27th, S pring Clean-Up Weekend - Early open for seasonals to clean-up their sites. May 1st,  Opening Day - We are open for the season!  Welcome home, welcome back, we have been waiting for you! May 3rd,  Camp Waubeeka New Years - New Years evening Bonfire, get-together, and free hotdogs (roast your own) and popcorn while they last!  7pm in the field by the horseshoe pits.  Bring your own drinks and a desert to share.  Let's Party! May 10th - 11th,  Mother's Day Weekend:            Saturday:  Ceramics with Liz and other surprises for Mom.                            Evening Bonfire and Karaoke with Pauline!             Sunday:  Pancake Breakfast, Mom's eat free with family breakfast ($)                            Town Hall meeting @ 11am May 17th,  Golf Cart Derby - Fire 'em up and get 'em ready for lots of laughs.  Evening Bonfire, we have the marshmallows and sticks, bring your own chocolate and graham crackers for s'mores! May 18th,  Tractor Pull - Its the big boys playing at the park today!  9am May 21st,   Liz and her great ceramics! ($)  May 24rd - 25th,  Memorial Day Weekend:               Friday:   Candy Bar Bingo @ 7pm at the Pavilion.  1 candy bar = 1 card; The more you play, the bigger the candy prize is, so come one and all and play for the sweet tast of the win!          Saturday:   Camp-Wide Tag Sale 8am-12pm and crafts for the kids.  Bingo, horseshoes, and kids activities in the afternoon.  Evening music for your dancing pleasure provided by John K, so let's dance the night away!  Hayrides start as well!             Sunday:  Ceramics with Liz, followed by bingo and horseshoes.  Then DJ Zac Barr is here to keep us hoppin' and boppin'!  Do not forget to check out his website next week for pictures of our great Waubeeka Dancers! June 6th - 8th,  Variety Weekend:               Friday:  Movie night at the pavilion           Saturday:  Crafts, bingo, horseshoes.  Kick off the summer with a kicking game or two!  Then kick up your heels to DJ John K!  Bonfire and hayrides of course!              Sunday:  Town Hall meeting, let's get organized for this year's COPAKE DAY'S PARADE. June 14th - 15th, Father's Day Weekend:           Saturday:  Ceramics with Liza, Bingo, Horseshoes, Cake and Ice Cream at the pavilion, hayrides, and Pauline will up us sing a song for Dad!             Sunday:  Father's Day Breakfast at the pavilion, Dad's eat free ($). June 20th - 22nd,  HOT AIR BALLOON WEEKEND:               Friday:  Casino Trip ($), sign up in advance, limited seating.  Evening bonfire, meet the hot air balloon pilots, they love talking balloons and roasting a marshmallow or two!  Sign up for a ride in the hot air balloons ($).           Saturday:Opemn House at Camp Waubeeka  Early morning and evening balloons go up weating permitting.  Guess what?  It's also Copake Days!  Get the bikes and golf carts decorated for the parade through town!  Or come join the FLOAT!  Morning tractor pull at the park.  Evening fireworks and bands also at the park.  Maybe we can fit in tethered rides too!  BBQ Dinner ($) - sign up in advance.             Sunday:  The Balloons go up, up and away!  But they will be back in September. June 27th - 28th,  Fishing Derby Weekend:               Friday:  Movie night at the pavilion.           Saturday:  Fishing Derby... All kids welcome!  Who will win this year?  Maybe a girl again?!?  Taco night at the Pavilion and Pauline will keep us entertained tonight.

August 1st - 3rd,  Youth Weekend: August 3 Carnival in Copake Park               Friday:  Movie Night at the pavilion.           Saturday:  Fun and games all day long just for our great kids!  Free Lunch for the kids, and some ice cream too!  Then dance tonight with the whole family to music by John K.  Don't forget about the hayride!             Sunday:  Town Hall meeting, only 1 1/2 months left to plan the scariest Haunted hayride yet!  Come join the planning, this year we are awarding prizes to the best scare in the woods! August 8th - 9th,  Chocolate Weekend:               Friday:  Candy Bar Bingo to start off our Chocolate Weekend!           Saturday:  Crafts... what can we do with chocolate?!  Bingo, every winner wins some chocolate too!  Hayrides.  Chocolate Desert Potluck, bring a chocolate goody to share @ 4pm at the pavilion.  With all that chocolate, we better dance a few calories away to the music U know Yeno. August 15th - 16th,  Luau Weekend:               Friday:  Movie Night at the pavilion.           Saturday:  Bingo, horseshoes and crafts, hayride and bonfire.  Luau Menu BBQ at the Pavilion ($), sign up by August 14th.  Then hang out and enjoy the evening while John K does the DJ thing. August 22nd - 23rd,  Variety Weekend:               Friday:  Casino Trip ($), sign up in advance, limited seating.  Candy Bar Bingo at the Pavilion.           Saturday:  Bingo, horseshoes and crafts, hayride and bonfire.  Taco Night at the Pavilion ($).  Pauline will provide the evenings entertainment DJ or Karaoke. August 29th - 31st,  Labor Day Weekend:               Friday:  Movie Night at the pavilion.           Saturday:  Camp Wide Tag sale, sell your stuff or cruise and buy!  8am-12pm.  Bingo, horseshoes, color time craft ($), hayride, bonfire and of course we gotta dance, U know Yeno will be here!             Sunday:  The party continues, ceramics with Liz, bingo, horseshoes, water volleyball, kids crafts and games.  The ZAC is back!  So put on your dancing flip flops and join the fun.  Then check out his website and see if you made the pics!

September 6th - 7th,  Laid Back Weekend:           Saturday:  Bingo, horseshoes, and a bonfire!  Enjoy a laid back weekend!  But then again, we may come up with a suprise!             Sunday:  Town Hall Meeting... last before the big scare! September 13th, Seasonal Potluck Dinner - Do not miss out on all that great food!  Bingo, horseshoes, and crafts. September 20th - Hot Dogs and Hamburgers at the pavilion for dinner ($).  Then stay and enjoy a movie with a bonfire in the mix too. September 26th - 28th,  HOT AIR BALLOON WEEKEND II:               Friday:  Evening bonfire, meet the pilots, and roast a marshmallow!  They love to talk hot air!           Saturday:  Early morning and evening balloons go up, weather permitting.  Sign up for a ride ($) and if the weather is good we will have tether rides too!  Ceramic with Liz, Bingo, Horseshoes.  And don't forget the Octoberfest Dinner! ($)  Sign up at the office by September 25th (Not into German?  There will be hamburgers and hot dogs too!)             Sunday:  The Balloons go up, up and away!  Last chance to see them this year!

October

October 4th - Oh no, October already!  Let's not get depressed, let's Derby instead!  Rev your carts up for another go at winning! October 10th - 12th,  Halloween Weekend:               Friday:  Scary Movie Night at the pavilion!           Saturday:  Bingo, horseshoes.  SIte decoration and costume contests, trick or treat for the kids and then keep those costumes on for dancing to the great entertainment of Zac Barr.  Contest winners announced at the dance.             Sunday:  Crafts, bino, horseshoes for the last time this season!  Then get ready, get set, and GO on the HAUNTED HALLOWEEN HAYRIDE!  Pick up tickets from the office any time this weekend. October 15th, Closing Day - Camp closes at 6pm, but we can't wait to see you next year!
